The Osaka World Expo will be held in April 2025. This large-scale event where you can experience the cultures and technologies of countries around the world will be an important opportunity to question peace and coexistence with nature. In this article, we will introduce the highlights of the expo, divided into “Signature Pavilions,” “International Pavilions,” and “Domestic Pavilions.”

How to reserve tickets and points to note

Tickets for the Expo can be reserved through the official website, but recently many people have said that they find it difficult to understand how to make a reservation. Below is a simple summary of the steps.

  2. Register an account
    • Register your email address and set a password.
  3. Select your ticket type
    • There are multiple types of tickets available, including general admission tickets and season passes.
  4. Select date and time
    • To reduce congestion, it is necessary to specify a date and time.
  5. Complete payment
    • Credit cards and electronic payments are accepted.

Please note:

  • In principle, changes cannot be made after a reservation has been made.
  • Popular pavilions may fill up quickly, so we recommend making reservations early.

Introducing the pavilions of each country at the Expo

Approximately 150 countries will participate in the Osaka Expo, and pavilions will be built to showcase their culture and technological innovations. These pavilions will be located in different areas of Yumeshima, allowing visitors to experience traveling around the world.

  • Access : Direct transport links are available from within Osaka city, and the venue can be accessed by foot or shuttle bus.

Each country’s pavilion will combine its own cultural characteristics and cutting-edge technology to provide visitors with a unique experience.

Signature Pavilion

The Signature Pavilion is the main exhibition facility that symbolizes the theme of the Expo. It features experiential exhibits that combine advanced technology and art to deeply inspire visitors on the future of humanity and coexistence with nature.

  • Highlight elements : Design inspired by natural structures, interactive presentation using light and sound.
  • Hands-on activities : A corner where you can experience traditional Japanese manufacturing techniques.
